NEW - Planning fees in Scotland are changing on 9th June 2025
Regulations for changes to planning fees have been laid in Parliament and it is anticipated that these will come into force, subject to Parliamentary Procedure, on 9 June 2025. Once adopted, this would include changes to application fees and the introduction of fees for Requests for Review of Application by Planning Authorities and Planning Appeals submitted to Scottish Ministers. More information on these changes can be found here.
We are working on updating the ePlanning service to (1) reflect the changes to application and consent fees, (2) reflect the introduction of fees for Local Review requests and appeals, and (3) enable those submitting a Local Review request or appeal to be able to pay for these online. We will be issuing further information as this work progresses.
